HB Tasting Notes:
A classy wine in dark ruby colour with intense red berry, liquorice fragrance. The rainfall of this year gives it a delightful acidity which pops up the fruitiness and makes the tannin silkier. The palate is complex, strawberry, raspberry dominants, with slightly fresh mint and mineral lash back, and the after taste lingers with the red liquorice.
Deep, slightly cloudy dark red colour with a hazy purple-red hue.
A mix of sour cherries, raspberries, red liquorice, earthy fresh herbs and subtle spice greets the nostrils.
Light in body, bright acidity underpins the sour cherry, fresh herb, earthy barnyard and spicy red liquorice flavours.
Somewhat tart finish with polished tannins and an out of left field sour cherry, fresh herb and earthy barnyard aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years. Alc. 14.4%
